Important Update

Church Family,
We are thankful that our church and community has not been adversely affected by the coronavirus, but we still see the need to do as much as possible to limit the spread of it.

We are also thankful to be able to continue meeting together in all of our various ministries and activities. However, with mounting concerns surrounding the coronavirus, we wanted to let you know how CATC is responding.

We are regularly disinfecting surface areas on a daily basis. This includes handrails, door openers and a host of other places with surfaces. We will continue to do that into the foreseeable future.

Additionally, our Pastoral Leadership is carefully monitoring the situation and considering all recommendations from medical and government officials. As always, we are committed to do whatever it takes to provide a safe environment for you and your family.

Our Preschool and Children's Ministry staff and volunteers encourage frequent hand washing, and clean all surfaces, equipment and toys used by our children. We will continue to follow our standard health protocols. We will not admit any children with an elevated temperature (above 99.6 F). Children must also be fever free for 24 hours, without medication, before returning to CATC Kids programming and activities.

In our Worship Services, we have asked ushers and door greeters to refrain from hand shaking until this virus subsides. We will continue to greet warmly and cheerfully as we see one another and greet with "fist and elbow bumps."

As always, we encourage you to consider what is God's will for you and for your family this weekend. If you do decide that it's best to stay home for whatever reason, we will continue to stream our Worship services online at catcorlando.com.

Let's be people of prayer who pray for God's protection over us, our friends and neighbors. At the present time we plan to refrain from visiting hospitals and nursing homes, but we do plan to make phone calls and be in prayer for people in need.

Let us remember the God who loves and protects us. Our "very present help in time of trouble" is with us now and will be with us in the future.

Finally, do not confuse our calmness and certainty in the Lord for complacency. Please join us in praying for the church, both here in the United States and around the world, that we would be a powerful testimony to the greatness of our God and the gospel in the midst of this opportunity.
